The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations conducts random surveys of Eastern Oxygen & Medical Equipment, Inc. to evaluate the organization's compliance with the nationally established Joint Commission standards.

Anyone believing that they have pertinent and valid information about quality of care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided may submit a complaint.

Your complaint may be submitted online, by mail, fax, or e-mail.  When submitting a complaint include the name, street address, city and state of the healthcare organization.  You may either provide your name and contact information or submit your complaint anonymously.  Providing your name and contact information enables The Joint Commission to inform you about the actions taken in response to your complaint, and also contact you if additional information is needed.  It is the policy of The Joint Commission to treat your name as confidential information and not disclose it to any other party.  However, it may be necessary to share the complaint subject with Eastern Oxygen in the course of a complaint investigation.

The Joint Commission policy forbids accredited organizations from taking retaliatory actions against employees for reporting quality care concerns to The Joint Commission.
